True To The Game
Referee Development Camp
May 6th thru May 8th, 2011
This camp is uniquely designed for the ambitious official who seeks to officiate division I college basketball and the professional ranks.
Hosted by Terry Gilbert and Zach Zarba with featured lecturer and observer Reggie Greenwood, Men's Basketball Coordinator of the Ivy & Patriot leagues.
Camp Clinicians:
Earl Walton - Division I Official
Marat Kogut - NBA Official
Kane Fitzgerald - NBA Official
Tony Turner - Division l Official
This is a total camp experience. Its purpose is to offer exposure and to identify talented officials with potential NBA, WNBA and College Division I ability.
Referees will be critiqued while officiating top level AAU teams from across the country with division I college bound student athlets. (Click the link for tournament info:) www.newyorkgauchos.com
Officials will receive unmeasurable information that will postivily impact their advancement in the following areas.

The camp will also offer game video break-down/review along with the court game critique.
This camp is designed for the all day learning experience. We will start Friday, May 6th at 11:00 AM with registration from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at the Joseph P Kennedy Community Center (Kennedy Center) 34 W 134th Street, New York, NY 10037 (use 135th Street to gain entrance) followed by Class Instruction / lecture from 1:00PM - 3:30 PM. Games will start Friday evening at the Gauchos Gym 478 Gerard Ave, Bronx, NY 10451 at 5:30 PM and end by 11:00 PM. Saturday, May 7th at the Gauchos Gym we will start by 8:00 AM and end by 11:00 PM. Sunday, May 8th at the Gauchos Gym we will start by 8:00 AM and end by 7:00 PM.
In addition to the outstanding assembled camp staff, a representative from the NBA Referee Operations Department will be in attendance to view officials.
